Easter Story

Remember the Easter story and learn afresh what it means for us all.

 Christianity is built on Jesus Christ Crucified for our sins and then, on the third day, rising again to eternal life!!!  

Jesus went to the Cross to become the perfect sacrifice for our sins. No other sacrifice could have accomplished what Jesus did for us that day. We were separated from God by Sin, but Jesus loved us so much that he endured torture and death on that cruel cross, and he did that to save us. Through his sacrifice, he washed away all the sin from our lives, past, present and future. On that Friday when Jesus died on that Cross the Temple curtain, the symbol of our separation, was torn in two, from top to bottom and we became righteous before God there was no longer a separation,  we have been reconciled and can approach His throne directly. 

BUT, that was not the end because, as told in the Old Testament Scriptures and as Jesus had said, on the third day,(Easter Sunday), He rose again. Jesus defeated death.!! This is no Fable!!! Jesus appeared to hundreds of people after his resurrection. It happened, its true.!!!
The resurrection of Jesus is the key to the Christian faith, Why?
1) Just as he promised, Jesus rose from the dead. We can be confident, therefore, that he will accomplish all that he promised.
2) Jesus' bodily resurrection shows us that the living Christ is ruler of God's eternal kingdom, not a false prophet or imposter.
3) We can be certain of our resurrection because He was resurrected. Death is not the end- there is future life.
4) The power that brought Jesus back to life is available to us to bring our spiritually dead selves back to life
5) The Resurrection is the basis for the Church's witness to the fact that Jesus is more than just a human leader, he is the Son of God

 Research it yourself if you still have doubts, I dare you!! Because if you approach your research with an open mind you cannot fail but be convinced of the truth and "The Truth will set you free", John 8:32.  Your life will be transformed.
