A rural church in the heart of the community
We have a Youth Club that meets at the Chapel in the evening on the 2nd and 4th Thursday in the month during school term times.
It is open from 6.30pm to 7.45pm and is primarily for children from school year 3 ( age 7 ) to school year 7 (aged 12). We use the Chapel premises during the winter and take the opportunity of using the outdoor space in the better weather for football, badminton, swing ball and other outdoor games. Inside activities include table tennis, pool, table football, air hockey, Xbox and Wii gaming and crafting activities as examples. The children have the option to just sit and chat with their friends should they choose. We run a popular tuck shop during the evening. Finally, we have the occasional bbq or evenings around a camp fire.
There is a small charge each evening of £1.00 for those attending.
The Club is staffed by Chapel volunteers and we're also very grateful to have some parents who assist with supervision duties. All staff are DBS checked and we adhere to the Baptist Union of Great Britain's child protection policy, 'Safe to grow'.
We have an average of 22 children per session and would love it if your child would like to join us.
If you're interested, just pop along one evening when we're open and have a look around and take the opportunity to speak with our staff.
